The WAM-V 12 USV was first introduced in 2009 at MACC in Norfolk, VA and AUVSI USIC in San Diego. Later that year, a WAM-V 12 USV was delivered to a major university to be used as a platform for autonomous operation research.

The WAM-V technology is scalable and we have a track record of scaling the design to meet our customer’s needs. WAM-Vs have been built in sizes ranging from 8 ft (2.5 m) to 100 ft (30 m) with a design for a 130 ft (40 m) variant for carrying a 50 ton payload.
