Wing Inflatables embraced the challenge of creating for Proteus, the first full size WAM-V™, the largest and longest sponsons ever made
Wing Inflatables proudly manufactures the best air tube and foam collar sponsons in the world. Based in Arcata, California, along our stretch of coast we are accustomed to high seas from Aleutian storms and class 5 rivers such as the Cal Salmon and Trinity. We feel this gives us an unparalleled opportunity to test our products in some of the heaviest waters in the world.
Our mission statement reflects our work ethic; Wing Inflatables will build the strongest, most durable and beautiful boats and sponsons that money can buy, period. Wing Inflatables uses the highest caliber materials, machinery and well trained staff to build a product good enough to wear our logo. Beginning with the initial contact right down to receiving your inflatable, Wing is with you every step of the way. We pride ourselves in providing unrivaled customer service, intelligent design input, and superior products. We strive to work with each customer to build the boat you've always wanted but could never find.

NOAA National Marine Sanctuaries have followed closely from inception the development of Proteus
The Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, manages a national system of fourteen underwater-protected areas that encompass more than 150,000 square miles of marine and Great Lakes waters from Washington State to the Florida Keys, and from Lake Huron to American Samoa. The system includes 13 national marine sanctuaries and the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands Marine National Monument.
The mission of NOAA's National Marine Sanctuaries is to serve as the trustee for the nation's system of marine protected areas, to conserve, protect, and enhance their biodiversity, ecological integrity and cultural legacy.
